Course Description:
Join us for an engaging and practical Cybersecurity Awareness course designed specifically for beginners. In the first session, you will learn the importance of cybersecurity, how to create strong passwords, use password managers, enable multi-factor authentication, and recognize phishing and social engineering attacks.
In the second session, we will focus on securing your physical and mobile devices, adopting safe internet and email practices, maintaining security while working remotely or using public Wi-Fi, and safely using social media. We will also cover best practices for securing your home network and smart devices.
This two-day course consists of two interactive sessions, each lasting two hours. Through real-world examples and hands-on exercises, you will gain practical skills that you can apply immediately. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each topic, making cybersecurity accessible and easy to understand.
The course is available in multiple languages, including Papiamentu, Dutch, and English, ensuring you can learn in the language you are most comfortable with.
Prerequisites:
✓ Basic computer skills, including how to use a mouse and keyboard.
✓ Familiarity with the Windows or Mac operating system.
✓ An interest in learning how to use Excel for personal or professional purposes.
✓ No prior experience with Excel is required.
